Rugby Ontario is reaching out to let you all know that the next Mixed Ability Sport Coaching Clinic begins next week. Mixed Ability Rugby is another great opportunity for clubs to embrace the diverse and inclusive nature of Rugby and connect with more individuals from your community.


The Mixed Ability Rugby season will end with the All In Rugby Cup, that was hosted for the first time last year in Oshawa. To view the recap video of the tournament please click here.


The coaching clinic is delivered by the Abilities Centre’s Mixed Ability Sport Canada team, and it is required for any coaches who plan to deliver Mixed Ability Rugby programming. The clinic costs $75 and each coach will receive 3 Professional Development Points upon completion of the clinic. If you would like more information please contact info@caledonrugby.ca


The clinic will be fully virtual. The dates are,


  • Tuesday, March 29th – 6-8pm

  • Thursday, March 31st – 6-8pm

  • Tuesday, April 5th – 6-8pm

Rookie Rugby Winter program on Hold until restrictions have been lifted. Read below for details. As of January 5, 2022, Town of Caledon indoor recreation amenities will be temporarily closed and programs and services suspended until further notice.  Caledon Public Libraries remain open with some restrictions. Visit caledon.library.on.ca/ for information on hours and services. Winter Programs – Temporarily Suspended Programs will be suspended until further notice, as recreation facilities are closed. Status of pre-registered programs for the remaining Winter 2022 session will be assessed and determined over the coming weeks. All affected registrants will be notified by email of necessary changes.   Should you wish to fully withdraw from your registered program, please submit your request to recreation@caledon.ca. Facility Rentals – Cancelled*  All Town of Caledon recreation amenities are closed until further notice, including rentals.   Permit holders will receive an automatic credit on their account for rentals that are cancelled as a result of the extended closure.
